Wedding Gown Couture

What does the couture process involve?

A couture wedding gown begins with a personal consultation. Ideas, individual preferences, themes, photos and in store gowns are reviewed and discussed at length. This initiates the design process. A unique sketch will be developed to suit your specifications. This can be further fine-tuned to meet your own requirements.

Once a design is finalised, the dress making process begins. The starting point here is an appointment during which your consultant will take your personal sizing measurements. Our goal is to achieve a beautiful dress with a comfortable fit.

Additional appointments are required throughout the construction of the wedding gown. We continue to make sure the gown style and fit is exactly as you require. The couture process usually involves a 12-16 week timeframe. 

When your wedding gown is fully completed is it pressed and ready for your collection.
